"This is how it feels to be free."
Those are the first words to a song that the students of Teen Challenge in Columbus, Ohio often sing. This newfound freedom comes from Christ. "If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed."
If you are a woman age 18 or older, in bondage to drugs or alcohol, the staff at Teen Challenge Columbus can help you gain freedom.
Our vision is to help women with life-controlling problems reach the point where they can function as a Christian in society, applying biblical principles to all aspects of their lives and relationships.
Teen Challenge Columbus endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.
Annual 5K Drug Awareness Walkathon
Saturday June 20, 2009
Innis Park, Columbus, OH
All monies raised from this 5k walk will help in what we are doing here at Teen Challenge Columbus. Come out and walk with us as we do our part in taking a stand against the drug epidemic that is destroying our families, friends and neighbors in our communities. So call us for a sponsor sheet and get started in making a change in the life of a lady who is struggling.
We will begin at 9am at Innis Park on Innis Rd.
*After the walk we invite you to join us on our Teen Challenge Campus for a picnic to celebrate.
Call our office at 614-476-4600 for more information on how you can be involved with this event.
Upcoming Events
Resale Shop
We are still looking, praying and making plans for a resale shop. Please stand with us as we seek this venue out. We have other Teen Challenges across the Nation that opened shops to help supplement their programs and they are doing well. We are also collecting items to help with this store, especially clothing and furniture. So it is time to go shopping ladies and when that treasure is found for you or your home please remember us with you old, slightly use items. Thanks!!!
Our Modular Project
The modular building that we were donated is slowly moving along. We are still in need of lumber so we can build the handicap ramp and a front porch. This building will serve as a visitation center for the families of our ladies and also for offices. We want to thank each of you for your part in making this happen.
